Had the honor to shoot Scott DeCarlo and his band at the Starland Ballroom in Sayerville, NJ last weekend. All I can say is they totally rocked the house. It was a great show and I look forward to working with Scott again. See more of the band's photos in the Music section of this website.
The Best Damn Band in New Jersey - The Bobby Lynch Band. Bobby asked me to shoot photos of the band a couple of weeks down at the Jersey Shore. We were on the Point Pleasant boardwalk and while it was a little chaotic, I think we got some good shots. Visit the band's website: http://www.bobbylynchband.com/ and check them out live soon! Visit the Music page of this website to see more band images.
Kids love bubbles. People love photos of kids loving bubbles. 'Nuff said. Book your next shoot before September 8, 2013, and save 10% when you mention "Bubbles"
I'm driving home from the dentist's a few weeks ago & I see this amazing yellow motorcycle out in front of someone's house. I get all the way home, pull into my driveway and stop and think - "There's a lot of personality in that bike and
I'm sure the owner's got a personality to match. I've got to shoot them both." So I drive back to the house, walk up and introduce myself to the owner. Turns out his name is Andy. I tell him I'm a professional photographer and that I want to shoot him and his bike. He looks at me for a minute and I wonder what he's thinking. Then says, "Let's do it!" And we did. Super nice guy. Shout out to Andy and his wife Nancy. I had a blast shooting this beast - and the motorcycle was fun to shoot too! (Andy was also kind enough to let me use his bike for a photo shoot with model Vanity Flare - her photos can be seen in the "Edgy" gallery on this website - thanks Andy!) Chris is an aspiring actor based in New Jersey. These were his first professional headshots and he was great to work with. Are you ready?
So what makes a great headshot or portrait? It starts with you. Yes - it’s important for a photographer to know about lenses, posing and lighting. But it is the subject of the photo that makes it great. Your personality. Your mood. Your inner SuperStar. That’s what people respond to when they see your photo. My job as your photographer is to capture your inner SuperStar. But I can’t capture what isn’t there. So it's your job to bring it. Bring it, own it. That way we can make some great photos together.
